Bricks that have enduring appeal ─ Corporate Communications' Edward Wong
Edward Wong from Corporate Communications is one of the many avid lovers of LEGO, as these little bricks have provided him with lots of interesting experiences.
"I meet a lot of friends through LEGO-building projects. We share our creations, and fire up each other's imaginations. I've even had the opportunity to build together with seasoned LEGO fans and exhibit our work at universities." Edward said.
Determined to promote greater enthusiasm for LEGO, Edward became a committee member of a LEGO club that gathers fans of all ages. The club organizes community activities so children at the grassroots level can also share in the joys of LEGO. He also designs large model sets with other LEGO enthusiasts, with Kai Tak Airport and the State Theatre being the works that have left him with the deepest impression. "Although I wasn't the brains behind these projects and I only helped the grand idea come to life, I derived a great sense of satisfaction from the results."
