SHKP Evergreen Club celebrates its 15th anniversary
The SHKP Evergreen Club, established by the company in 2004 for retired colleagues, started with 30 members and has grown to 160 members today. As the Dragon Boat Festival is approaching, the SHKP Evergreen Club recently hosted a feast for its members to celebrate the festival and the club's 15th anniversary.
SHKP Chairman and Managing Director Raymond Kwok appeared as a surprise guest at the gathering. He said that the initial objective of setting up the SHKP Evergreen Club was to provide an opportunity for retired colleagues to continue to socialize with one another and to encourage them to keep on giving valued feedback to the company to drive continued improvements at SHKP. At the end of the gathering, Raymond Kwok distributed gifts to all participating members and wished each and every one of them a happy Dragon Boat Festival.

SHKP colleagues contribute to charitable causes on blood donation day
SHKP regularly organizes two blood donation days every year, and about 90 of our colleagues took part in early May held blood drive. The next blood donation day will take place on 6 September 2019. If you would like to support us in this worthy cause, here are a few daily health tips that you should follow:
Eat more healthy foods and avoid fatty dishes. Consume more fruits and drinks rich in Vitamin C. Eat spinach, red meat, fish, poultry and iron-high cereals to help iron absorption in the body. Make sure to get adequate rest.
Mother's Day flower arrangement workshop
SHKP recently held a Mother's Day flower arrangement workshop to coincide with the day to honour all mothers in mid-May. Kai Shing's Cherry Tam, who is an expert in the floral arts, was specially invited to the SHKP headquarters to share some of her flower arranging skills and tips with colleagues. An 'Easter Ferris Wheel Icing Cookies' workshop was recently held. Under the visiting tutor's instruction and various demonstrations, SHKP colleagues were given hands-on opportunities to design and make their own unique DIY cookies that reflect their personal characteristics. Learning proper handshake etiquette
As the saying goes – 'A straw shows which way the wind blows'. Your first impression is made from how you dress, how you sit, your facial expressions, and even the small gestures you make. Recently, the Group Training Section invited business etiquette consultant Desmond So to share with SHKP colleagues his advice and tips on how to make a good first impression. All participants benefited a great deal from this useful training workshop.
